JOB DESCRIPTION: 


1. JOB TITLE: District Manager

2. REPORTS TO: Regional Manager

3. SUBORDINATES:

a.    Operations Executives

b.    Driver cum Support staff

c.     Data Entry Operators

d.    Lab Technicians

4. WORK PLACE & SCHEDULE: The place of work would be at respective District Head Quarters. The work timing is 8 am to 4 pm, 6 days in the week, Sundays off/Weekly Offs as per the work plan communicated by The Regional Manager. In case if required he/she should be available 24/7 * 365 days in a year.

5. TRAVEL: District Manager position would involve extensive travel across all Mandals in the districts for supervisory purposes. Should be available for any Mandal/District level meetings as and when required. Needs to travel to vehicle service points for monitoring and quality check of MMUs Operations at village level.

7. TA & DA: Not applicable for day-to-day duty. In case of any travel within the district or to Regional Head office or State Head Quarters for meetings & monitoring visits (as per approval from Regional manager) The District Manager is entitled for TA & Hotel expenses as per company travel policy.


8. JOB FUNCTIONS:

PEOPLE MGMTStaff leadership, welfare, Team Training and performance management. Arrangement of ADHOC staff (Drivers, DEOs & Lab Technician) in the MMUs as and when required.

FINANCIAL MGMTShould maintain records of ADHOC resources utilized in the district and should communicate & coordinate with HR Department through Regional Manager for payment of such ADHOC payments. Management of Cash book for advances released from the Accounts Department.   Timely submission fuel, travel and other petty cash expenses with in 7 days of such expenditure to accounts department with due approvals from The Regional manager.
INFORMATION & COMMUNICATIONSupporting Regional Managers in District & Mandals level Government official liaison, reporting RM as appropriate. Service reports to Regional Head-Headquarters on daily basis.

COMPLIANCEDistrict/Mandal level Clinical and service process accountability, compliance and improvement

SUPPLY CHAINEnsuring supply of required quantity of Medicines, Lab and medical consumables to all MMUs in the District of his District jurisdiction.


10. EQUIPMENT PROVIDED: The District Manager is responsible for all MMUs, Medical and Non-Medical equipment installed or provided for smooth operation of MMUs in the District. He will be the custodian of all equipment (IT & Non-IT) provided by the State HQ.

11. CRITICAL AREAS IN JOB: Meeting Key Performance indicators of the project at District Level, Government relations, Communication and interpersonal skills, Clinical services accountability, MMU custodianship, Manpower management & team skill development.

12. GRIEVANCE RECORDING: Regional Manager @Regional Headquarters & State Program Head at State Headquarters.

13. DISCIPLINARY COMMITTEE: As per instructions from HO

14. SUBSTITUTE POSITION IN CASE OF ABSENCE: Adjacent District Manager will be deputed by The Regional Manager on temporary basis. If any District Manager is absent for duties without proper notices/ communication to Regional Managers, then such District Manager will be liable for suspension/ disciplinary action as per company HR Disciplinary procedures.
